We are located in Rockford close to the banks of the Rock River. Rockford is a community of about 150,000 and is the third largest city in Illinois, but the largest City outside of the Chicago market. If there was no Chicago which would mean no Chicago suburbs, Rockford would be the largest, and one of the most important cities in the state. As it stands now we are a city of the state’s highest unemployment, highest property taxes, highest crime rate. RockfordTeaParty hopes to make enough of an impact that our political leaders will take heed and help us out of some of these number one category in these areas.
