On that day of infamy the 61st Congress passed the 16th to the States beginning the ratification process which took until early 1913 to be completed. In 1913 Congress passed the Federal Reserve Bill giving to powerful private bankiing interests its power to “coin money and determine the value thereof”. Thus Congress took two great “self-corrupting” steps which have gradually transferred power from we the people to they the Congress. Congress no longer represents the people but dictates to the people.
